SPORT ROWING BOAT

A sports rowing boat must be light, durable and possess sufficient rigidity. The quality of processing (polishing) the bottom of the hull is an important constituent of the conditions required for achieving high scores.

Boats are made in two modifications - for trainings and for competitions. The first one is the inexpensive, reliable boat which is made from polyester fibreglass, second one - the hi-tech construction is produced by vacuum moulding with useing carbon and aramide (kevlar) fibres, honeycomb core NOMEX.

The basic advantages of the composit hull:
- ideally smooth underwater part;
- low weight at high general and local rigidity and strength;
- simplicity of service and repair.
